Young people from Novator science, technology and innovation centre visit Novolipetsk
Lipetsk has a science, technology and innovation centre called ‘Novator’, which aims to support and develop technical creativity in young people to build an innovative approach to engineering challenges; bringing up a new generation of pioneers in technology. The centre was opened in 2006.
The Lipetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry thought it was a good idea to show the children what an advanced hi-tech plant is like in real life, and a group of young people attending ‘Novator’ went on a visit to Novolipetsk’s manufacturing shops.
Vladimir Savorona, Head of Professional Development, Novolipetsk:
“We are pleased to have the young people visiting our plant. I believe that it’s very important to start picking up technical knowledge when you are young. There’s always a lack of good technical experts. Who knows, maybe some of them will become Novolipetsk employees, innovators and inventors.”
