NLMK Group has placed among the top 5 companies in the first non-credit rating of procurement management quality compiled by Expert RA and the Expert Business Solutions analytical company.

The rating ranks Russian companies with an annual procurement volume of at least RUB 500 million.

The authors of the rating indicate that its methodology is based on a factor model that provides a weighted assessment of numerous quantitative and qualitative indicators, which reflect all key aspects in the functioning of a procurement service: the team’s professional experience, the level of procurement regulation and automation, the efficiency of procurement. The weight of such indicators in the overall rating grade is rather high: 65%. This way, apart from providing an expert opinion on procurement quality in a given company, the methodology helps quantify procurement process characteristics and compare companies’ procurement systems using transparent, uniform criteria.
